Priceless! The comment from the police about them delightfully running at the sign is wonderfully revealing. It means they sat off to the side and watched the festivities for a while before "arriving on the 'scene'." My guess is that they were there for a while and most likely called everyone they could to show up before they interacted with the group. This would offer an explanation for why they observed them using the operable sign to gauge their stumbling speed however it was beyond repair when rescued from the fire it went into. I would have loved to be there to hear the conversation the officers had while watching all the fun. I can only imagine what the crew was hollering while running at the sign and such. It also begs the question *when* did they discover the new owners of their stolen sign?

Ironically, one of them is a corrections officer (I changed the title to reflect that).

What did you expect? Top Gun is a movie about being a hot young guy in the Navy. No vote up though. There isn't anything shocking about the fact that Top Gun has gay innuendos.
